The Saudi context

Vision 2030 raised the bar for customer experience.

Saudi consumers expect digital-first service in their dialect. Operators expect cost-to-serve to drop while CSAT rises. Cozmo is built for both sides of that equation.

01 · Customer expectations

Saudi customers want service in Arabic, on demand.

Saudi is the largest market in the GCC, with the highest share of native Arabic speakers. Customers expect support in the dialect they grew up with, available across the Saudi working week, on the channels they actually use. WhatsApp first, then phone, then app.

02 · Operator pressure

Cost-to-serve has to drop. CSAT can't.

Vision 2030 economic diversification is creating new demand in retail banking, telco, insurance, e-commerce and hospitality. Volumes are growing faster than support teams can hire. Cozmo handles the 60 to 80 percent of contact that is repeatable, and routes the rest to humans with full context.

Sub-dialect coverage

Najdi and Hejazi. Two distinct dialects.

A customer in Riyadh sounds different from a customer in Jeddah. Generic Arabic AI flattens that. Cozmo is tuned for both, and switches based on region or caller preference.

FAQ

Common questions, direct answers.

Does it handle both Najdi and Hejazi properly?

Yes. Both sub-dialects are tuned independently. The agent can default to one (Najdi for a Riyadh-based brand) or detect the caller's dialect from the first turn and adapt. Common phrases, idioms and politeness markers are handled correctly in both.

What about Urdu and Tagalog quality?

Both are production-grade. Cozmo's Urdu handles Pakistani register naturally, and Tagalog handles common Filipino code-switching with English. These are the two languages most often heard on Saudi service desks after Arabic and English.

How does it handle weekend coverage?

The Saudi week runs Sunday to Thursday. Cozmo is available 24/7 across the full week. Many operators use Cozmo to cover Friday and Saturday entirely, while keeping weekday volume staffed by humans plus Cozmo on a deflection model.

Can it escalate to a human agent in the same call?

Yes. Warm handover with full context. The agent passes the conversation history, the customer's identity, the resolution attempts so far and the reason for escalation. Human agents pick up without making the customer repeat themselves.

What channels does it work on?

Voice (phone), WhatsApp, web chat and email out of the box. The same logic runs across all of them with channel-appropriate formatting. WhatsApp is the dominant channel for most Saudi consumer brands and gets the most attention in our defaults.

How fast is the rollout?

Three weeks from pilot to production for a typical Saudi support deployment. One week to configure dialect profile and workflow logic, one week to integrate with your CRM and helpdesk, one week of supervised pilot before going live.
